TAU are the computers put on board the colonizing ship that landed at Da Vinci. TAU was charged with the task of making Da Vinci hospitable for humans, but when things went wrong, TAU began growing Seedlings before they were ready. Eventually a storm hit the tower that housed TAU, wreaking havoc on the databases and AIs. TAU now stands damaged and scrambled, but continues to do it's best to support the human population and further the planet's terraforming.
